For 16 year old Brayden Lape, music has been a love and passion.  He taught himself guitar and began singing during the pandemic in 2020.  His inspiration came from the story of young artist, Shawn Mendes along with Brett Young for his style and smooth tone.  After learning a handful of cover songs Brayden began playing little gigs around his small town in Michigan.  In 2021 he tried out for Season 22 of 'The Voice NBC'  where he landed a Blind Audition.  With a chair turn from Blake Shelton, he began his new singing journey.  After winning the Battle round and Knockout round Lape gained confidence and momentum and began dreaming about music on a different level. He entered the live shows in November of 2022 in the top 16 and was voted through by America .  Brayden was humbled by the support and beyond grateful to finish in the top 5 amongst 4 amazing artists and coaches. "This experience was one I will never forget, I'm thankful for all of the people that have helped me get to this point" Lape says.  In 2022 he opened for Season 20 winner of American Idol, Noah Thompson in Michigan.  Brayden recently collaborated to write and record original music in Nashville, TN and plans to release in 2023.  He is excited to share his first release "Hand it To Ya" a country song with a new age feel.
